Maybe if your case has a front fan the end of the card will get cool air right from the source. :-p

It's more for the 2560x1600 resolution that the Intel cpus support with the displayport. I've been building mini-itx systems for this resolution for years. Usually Zotac supports 2560x1600 on their mini-itx boards but they don't have a low profile mini-itx yet and I'm looking forward to...

I wish they'd use a displayport on the back of the motherboard. It's smaller than DVI after all.

It'll be 8+8+6 pin power like some of the cards Nvidia has announced. I don't think zotac has done much with custom coolers before although they have used and sold CoolIT sealed liquid cooling. They'll likely use a 3rd party cooler again.
