there are a few things you can do here, clean the connections of the wires, try a different set of wires, or just not use the ps3 and ship it to me i can deal with some static. joking of course lol.

I would choose the jupiter case on newegg, probably the antec900 though because it looks like its a mid tower case, both have like 4 120mm fans. and honestly, i wouldnt get a quad core, its practicly useless lol,atleast until programers for games realy start utilizing the other cpu's i think...
