    /GTX580OCP not working

Aha! I got it working with a old version of GPU-Z 0.50 and 263.09 drivers. (didn't test any other versions) so it seems newer GPU-Z's have a /GTX580OCP that doesn't work on any driver version??? I guess the attempted fix back in march didn't work and broke backwards compatible fixes too? So if...

    /GTX580OCP not working

Or maybe the attempted fixes by W1zzard were only for a specific version of driver and incompatible with the method of doing it for the old drivers? On Mar. 4th W1zzard said: I've tried 280.26, 266.58, and 262.99 and none work. hmm, maybe 263.09 will work...

    /GTX580OCP not working

260.99 doesn't find compatible hardware either. I think 262 was the first drivers for 580. this is odd that it's still not working with 262. Did nvidia maybe update some firmware on the cards themselves so OCP can't be disabled? It used to work with this 580 back in december 2010 Edit: I did...

    /GTX580OCP not working

hmm, 262.99 doesn't seem to be working either. VDDC Current goes from 80ish and drop to the 50's and 60's intermittently. and FPS in OCCT jumps around a lot from 120 to 180 due to this. I tried to install 258 drivers, but wouldn't install. (pre-580?) I think I'll have to try 260.99 now.

    /GTX580OCP not working

not working with 266.58, I guess GPUZ was never fixed back in january. (original nvidia "fix" was in 266) So I guess I need to go back to 262.99 thanks for replies btw.

    /GTX580OCP not working

Thanks, I'll try. you caught me in the middle of a post edit-rewrite. So, 270 and above can't disable OCP?

    /GTX580OCP not working

[Half Solved] /GTX580OCP not working GPUZ.EXE /GTX580OCP command to disable OCP still doesn't work. I remember months ago in my post here that nvidia patched version 266 drivers. W1zzard said he was working on a fix, but did this ever happen? or did nvidia patch them again? GPUZ isn't disabling...

GPU-Z no longer disables GTX500 OCP on 266 drivers

I've been ripping my hair out for days trying to figure out why my GTX 580 is unstable, until I realized OCP isn't being disabled properly anymore on nvidia 266+ drivers. Is there a fix planned soon? Or has nvidia really made it difficult this time?

    Sapphire X1800GTO2 512MB

oh really... interesting. maybe sapphire ran out of refurbished/defective stock from ATi. or maybe too many returns from people like us? LOL  i sent mine back today so i should make the RMA deadline by 1 day. should get about $200 or something. they charged me $8 out of the restocking fee...

    Sapphire X1800GTO2 512MB

no i just have a old case with the side panel open and a 90mm fan blowing on it. i can't put my core voltage over 1.35V on this GPU otherwise temps go above 65C and that seems to make it artifact slightly. maybe i didn't put enough AC5 on it. the VF900 had a really nice finish on the bottom so i...

    Sapphire X1800GTO2 512MB

This may be a bit off topic but... got my x1900xtx today and i got to try out the zalman VF900 Yeah this cooler does kind of suck. and not just because of the hot air being in the case. even with my case open and a 90mm fan blowing directly on it i'm getting very high temps, nearly 70c with...

    Sapphire X1800GTO2 512MB

i thought i had modified the timings already by flashing a XTPE bios on it but maybe i didn't. with the stock bios you sent me, i can't seem to get over 684 memory just like the XTPE bios. when i opened the XTPE bios in rabit, it was showing the XT timings. maybe it's an issue with ATIWinflash...
