EKWB had upgrade kits available months ago. Can't see why AMD wouldn't communicate with other manufacturers at the same time.

Same, I was hoping they'd ship it out when I gave them my PoP last Thursday, but the the rep said they didn't have them yet and would put me on the list. It would have been nice if they had the form ready to go when Ryzen actually launched and not just emailing customer support.

With all the extra money I'm making, I did buy a Rammer and a Gun Laying Drive so far. About to get Vertical Stabilizer in about 100k. Also using my T29 crew in it. Not sure how accurate the mod is for the reload timer, but it says about 13 seconds for reloading.

I used Prime 95. I can do a run if you want.

I get about 65C on load at 4.4GHz.

I have a Hyper 101a and it covers almost the entire CPU (FX 4100). There is a small amount not covered, but that is just a few mm of the outside edge. My temps are good, so it doesn't appear to be doing any harm.

I finally bit the bullet and bought a T34. Now I just need to learn how to play the game better as I feel like I'm still a noob when I get in to T9-10 games.

Yeah, the OEM 8000 series is just a rebranded 7000 series chips. The retail 8000 series that should come out sometime around Q3 2013 will be GCN 2.0.

Only reason I included that part was to imply that it doesn't take a significant amount of time to switch from the regular desktop to the Metro UI without having a start button on the desktop. It takes nearly the same amount of time to open a program on Windows 8 than it does on 7 through Metro...
