MSI Shows Upcoming High-End Motherboard, Likely X299-based

This is Intel's HEDT platform, their mainstream consumer platform is the Z270 chipset which is meant for you.

MSI Bundles Optane Cache SSDs with Select Motherboards

Plus it's non volatile, so unlike RAM cache, it can store data in anticipation for boot up.

    Intel's Core i7-7740K Kaby Lake-X Benchmarks Surface

The article says it still had quad channel memory, I think it would be easier to just disable cores on lower yield CPUs than to remove an iGPU and add in two memory channels.

Kickstarted - Calyos NSG S0 Fanless Chassis With Phase Change Cooling

So I am an editor at another tech publication, this company reached out and sent me one of their units, I have it here now for review. I also saw their unit at CES multiple times (like Supermicro had a version of their PC in their show suite).

Kickstarted - Calyos NSG S0 Fanless Chassis With Phase Change Cooling

A lot of GPUs use a vapor chamber and heat pipes, and they way they transfer heat is technically phase change, but yea i know what you mean in regards to the phase change units we are used too which are basically re-purposed ACs with their evaporators changed into blocks.

Kickstarted - Calyos NSG S0 Fanless Chassis With Phase Change Cooling

I have one of these, so they are close to selling large scale beyond kickstarter. They also have teamed with vendors and the like, I wouldn't call them a Kick Starter project, that is probably a better source of investment capital for them than taking in private investors.

Intel Plays Dirty Over Ryzen, Attempts to Manipulate Ryzen Reviews?

To be fair I am the CPU reviewer at TweakTown, I communicate with Intel at TweakTown, and they didnt try and ask me to talk to them about my Ryzen review and our relationship is fine. Maybe they only did it with press they thoight would use amds slides instead of making their own? idk

That isn't a U SKU CPU, so it's not affected.

ZADAK511 Updates SSDs with RGB LED Lighting

Yea, typical of these types of companies. There is money to be made in the gaming segment, especially with the ultra-high-end products and their higher profit margins. We see it in the motherboard industry too, a few companies only make a couple high-end motherboards and forgo trying to compete...

Newegg Now Owned by Chinese Company

That's why you research which product you want elsewhere and just purchase from Amazon (I only purchase if it has prime for example, since I have prime).

Newegg Now Owned by Chinese Company

From all their shady activities, i thought they were already owned by a Chinese company? Maybe they are now officially owned by one? Amazon isn't the most excellent, but at least they have easy no hassle returns and carry most everything with same if not lower prices than Newegg. I switched...
