Sure, most new games support SLI and CF. But some games like Company of Heroes 2 (i was angry for that) do not support SLI/CF.

Less problems (some games do not support multi-gpu configurations). Less power usage, easier overclock. 7850 is good option too if you dont have to replace PSU.

Go with 770 (it's 680). Or think about R9 290. And did you thinked about Z97 motherboards?

It was from my experience. But heavy OC'ed i5 750 can make 7000-7500 in 3DMark11 (stock 4400?). It's best CPU i ever had (for normal use and gaming it's more than enough imho but it draws too 200w+ with 1.45v voltage). But from test i've seen even FX 8320 is about 5% slower than i7 4770k in CE...
