    Well the article is suggesting there will be a performance decrease if you put the standard red drives in a raid set larger than 8 drives. I wasn't even aware there was a limitation with red drives until reading this article. I'd be interested to know how much of a performance impact it would...

    16Gb dimms, means I could buy a mini-itx board with 2 dimm slots and run a mini vmware esxi box with 32Gb ram which is the max you can run with the free license. I realize I'm probably going to be in the minority in wanting something like this though.

    The specs shown on Eurocoms website mention ECC support. http://www.eurocom.com/products/showroom/products_files/mobileserver/mobileserver.cfm Also says it support 64Gb RAM, not 32Gb mentioned in the article above. Would be awesome if the laptop came with a thunderbolt port for faster...
