My 4850 goes over 100 degrees! Speaking of fan controls... When I'm gaming now, my 4850 goes over 100 degrees after my upgrade to 8.12. When that happends, my fan goes to 100%. It used to be fine with 8.11, when I had the fan at 50% it never got that hot! Did the new drivers make my card work...

I upgraded to a HD 4850. I find it's quite a bit better than my 3870 especially with AA on. But I'm keeping my 3870 as a backup for now. Just too bad you can't Crossfire 3800s with 4800s...

I seem to have the same problem as well. I'm using a Asus P5K-E/WiFi-AP motherboard(which also only support 1 PCI-E 16x and 1 PCI-E 4), and I can see that Crossfire is enabled in CCC, but not in GPU-Z. I did both the steps in removing and installing the drivers, but it's still the same. I did...

Posting my updated results... 16428 I'm surprised how much of a difference it made from just overclocking the CPU to another 400mhz more! Can probably go higher, but my Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro heatsink doesn't seem to be giving enough cooling...
