    There is the DXTory codec, Cinepak codec, Fraps codec, Intel IYUV (In the list twice), Microsoft RLE, Microsoft Video 1 and x264vfw - H.264/MPEG-4 AVC Codec (The one I am using) [Edit] I am using the x264 settings from the post http://www.thecgl.com/forums/showthread.php?tid=178

    I need to have it installed to record with dxtory, but I can uninstall the 64x version. [Edit] Just uninstalled the x264vfw64 codec and the video still runs but will not open in Vegas at all.

    x264vfw Problems I recently installed DXtory and Vegas Pro, I had a look around on Google to find a good encoder to use, I eventually found x264, and chose to use it because of the the small file size(10 mins under 1gb) and high quality. I have recorded a few videos and I just tried to edit...
