Finally found a fix. Turns out windows 7 is the fix. After an update windows 8 just didnt like my mouse. But I can attest that windows 8 is a lot faster and responsive than 7.
My mouse suddenly stopped working after an update. Mouse cursor not working in windows but works on bios. I tried two mice. Uhmm. I also tried uninstalling the drivers and performing sys restore. Help please.
Tried reflashing mobo bios to 1.70 as well
I dont think they would sell these consoles for $500 at launch. Not enough profit. I'm guessing it would be near a $1000 and a lot of people would still buy it coz of the holiday season.
They can show me a lot of shiny screenies and I still ain't gonna be impressed as most likely it would be...
I have a sapphire 7950 boost and i got mine to oc up to 1130 core while never touching the volatages. Highest temp i got is 77c during crysis3. There must be something wrong with that card.
This happened to me a lot of times in between upgrades. I would suggest that you test it out of the case. Something from the case is touching a pin on the mobo.
Took it to the store. It is over the instant replacement warranty. They just turned it on and they said they'll replace it. Hope they replace it with rev 2 of the extreme 3.
Good thing I did not sell the athlon yet. I have a cheap biostar mobo that i could use. But it looks like windows 8...
This is getting a little bit tedious. I bought all my things at the same store. If I cant figure out today. I'm gonna bring my rig to the store and let them figure it out. ;-)
1.2 was the orginal bios. I have had 1.7 for about a month before upgrading to 8320.
BTW it might be posible that i smeared a little thermal grease onto the socket in between changing cpus several times any way to check or clean that?
I flashed the bios around a month ago while i was using the athlon so i'm sure it ain't the bios. I got it off asrock's site.
I'm somewhat agreeing with dent with it not being a hardware problem. I better try and screw the default am3+ and use the stock heatsink. I dont have a budget yet to...
The mobo speaker is definitely plugged in the right place. And i am sure it is working. Tried the athlon bench as well and it is a no go. Guess the mobo is dead. :-(
Tried 2 80 plus psu. I tested the board without the ram and no beep which is wierd. I also checked the cmos jumper and unplugged the power cord and still nothing. No onboard gpu.
