I have an A64 Venice 3000+ overclocked from 1.8 to 2.6 @ 1.55v w/ a TT silent boost K8 hs/fan. Idle is 28-32C Load always less than 40C.

Holy Crap. 100? Is that celcius? I have an x800GTO2 w/ arctic silencer and it idles from 35-39C depending on ambient, and full load is 58-61C. I'm not sure about what these cards can handle but isnt 100C like 212F? That thing wont last long if those temps are right!

I've had mine as high as 570 core/ 610 mem. Its stable with no artifacts at 560/610. I really haven't tried the memory higher than 610 yet. I have the ATI silencer 5 rev 2 cooing on mine fwiw. I use 540/580 everyday no problems at all.

I think it'll help a little. I used AS ceramique on the ATI silencer cooler, instead of the thermal pad.

I have my GTO2 unlocked to 16 pipes and running at 560/1220. No artifacts, but I haven't tried higher yet. That is with Artic cooling. It scored 6828 in 3Dmark05 at that clock. Hell of a card for $200. (Is more now)

Got it to work right the first time. Smokin along at 540/1180. X850XT PE specs I believe. I did install the ATI silencer 5 rev.2 before ever using the card. If anyone is wondering, it fits perfect other than the memory doesn't touch the heatsink unless you use the supplied thermal pads. I...

Ah, thanks. I'm kinda scared to do this bios flash, since I've never done one for a vc. Anyway, I noticed this card went from $199 to $299 at newegg in the past few days.

I just got this card from Newegg, and the red F's don't show up in ATItool. Am I stuck with 12 pipes? Any help is appreciated.
