that was my problem.. didnt have the fan set at 100%, but so noisey.. have to get a new fan.. its runing at 41 idle and 47 on load in games...

Yeah still usig IDE HDD. just got my new satta II HDD. so just orderd new cable for it. I cant use my new sata yet till the new cable comes. Where would the sata cable connect to on the board ? as u say its diffrent to the IDE 1 connection on the board.
