Thats correct... you can't change the core / mem speeds in BIOS. Only the voltage. Otherwise, you will BSOD on bootup. Thank you AMD for placing these restrictions.

AFAIK this trick only works on reference cards ( not 100% sure ).

Right now i have managed to get both my cards running at 1000/1400 using 1.275v. Powertune is really bad using Furmark, but when using 3DMark11 on High preset it doesn't kick in at all... go figure. Also upgraded my PSU because my old one would go into overcurrent protection when going to...

Actually crazyeyes, you got it wrong too (sorry :) ) I adjusted my overclocking limits using an app called RacerX v11. What that does is change my registry settings which in turn increases the overlocking limits within CCC. The only thing I want to use RBE for is set my 3D voltage... that's all

Thx for the advice slyfox, but how is this relevant ? I haven't changed my clocks or anything like that. Just trying to get 3D voltage to work thats all.... nothing major. BTW, i AM overclocking in software....
