5770 single slot fan control I would like to get this card also but what ive done with my 4850 ati single slot card is to run the fan plug on the card to one of the spots on my fan controller so i can control the fan speed manually.. It has worked well with my 4850...Id do the same on this xfx...

You might consider a dfi board as they work with ocz on ram with their boards...ocz has always had very good results on dfi boards...plus you get the option of fine tuning your ram on their boards due to a very elaborate bios...set it to auto or tweak your self to death.......

im running a 5000be @ 3180 at stk volts on the abit ax78..ive been very pleased with this board,but if I were buying today id get a 790gx board..I personally like the foxconn one and the asus is nice but the layout of the foxconn is imo close to perfect...biostar has a version for like 99.00 too...

hard locks I had this problem on my amd system running abit ax78 with 5000be and gskill ddr2 800...tryed all kinds of things untill i read a post from the UK that the problem was the ati cat drivers 8.2 i believe ...changed mine to 8.7 and issue is resolved...dont know what your system specs...

Not really.those boards you mentioned are very good boards as far as the chipsets go.unless you are doing some very intensive tasks like video encoding /rendering you wont notice the difference in real world use..benchmarks will show an increase but alot of people buy all this latest thing out...
