is this ok? it was in the first week that i got the cpu the card is from a friend of mine i got the r6970 now....... and i dont get that score even if i oc to 5.2 and the fricking card to 1.0ghz the temps are low due to the EE.

i thing it is the cpu that botlneck the system. i founded out in my last upgrade i was runing on 955@4000 + gtx295 no problems in games no mater the game i upgraded first the cpu and for a sort period of time i got 2600k@4200 + gtx295 the games ware the same no problems but in benches the card...

keep your money and buy a buldozer. i run a 2600k@4200 + 6970. it runs very good and it benches like hell but in real life gaming and computing i dont see much diferece from my old PH955@4000 + gtx295. they both run very smooth in games. that is my op.

i feel so lucky i lived to see the transistor counts back in the 486 erra until the p4 erra and now is starting the core count not far from now i thing we all see core counts like transistors 30 hears from now amd / intel well have 1000 cores or more or even biocores or anything like souper...

i tried catalyst 8.3 and it kills the crossfire mode ex. on crossfire mode withe 8.3 cat i get 7.450 withe crossfire mode off i get 9.880
