No and yes. Not everyone have fast internet connection to see movies online in HD or UHD. In my situation, just have 4MB (768kbps up) ADSL. Even HD it's hard to see.

My RX480 with "just" 4GB handle @4K BF1 (~30-40fps), BF4 (~50-70fps), DOOM (~40-60fps). I see this like a "I'm here" from NVIDIA.

I like the riser mod and even think why never do before ¿?. About the hole in the window, this GPU location its more for "look" than taking fresh air. Many GPU have custom coolers and no one can see them because are looking down.
