Evga X58 E760 4x 290x won't boot into Windows, but any 3 will.
well it is solved. and it is nothing about the CPU. it is just the mobo can't provide enough power to 4 PCI-E slots. I used powered riser cable on 2 of them, then solved.- zmhaha

No. But the riser cable does not actually do anything but extend the slot. It will perform on the physical slot and it is currently showing them running at x8, unless the cables are faulty, which I have ruled out since the cards using them are running at 100% for hours without problems. Hi all. I have come across this issue that I can't get my X58 boot into windows with 4x 290x, but 3 will. I am not running them in crossfire. It is a mining rig. I think I think the power supply is not the issue.. Spec: Evga X58 Classfied E760 + i7 920 + Corsair 3x4GB RAM Win 7 Ultimate 64bit...- zmhaha

Sapphire 7950 Bios Flash HELP!
I used atiflash(not atiwinflash) -p -f 0 bios.rom command (booted into dos w/ USB stick) I think I accidentally flashed the locked bios position due to the "-f" command (forgot to switch position) while the unlocked position has nothing on it. But result is not working, the flashed bios does...- zmhaha
