Danish stuff yeehaa!
Nah not really they use the same barebones as a lot of other low to midrange local manufacturers, nothing to get excited about. It may have the right specs but the quality of the casing is poor.

Actually now that i think about it...a big thank you to D_o_S for posting this. ive just had a look at the Zepto's website & Since they ship to the UK (their Danish) when the time comes I will be picking up one of their laptops instead of a crappy last gen DELL 1530.

::EDIT::

1 negative found - I made up a custom build, all i changed was the CPU & battery pack = delivery date 20 days

well, so long as its able to run the game it should be fine - portable gaming on the move. I use to take my lappy to my nans n sit there playing oblivion all day - otherwise it was over to my mates or the library where i sat there & played guildwars all day.

but I partially agree - for the price im gonna be paying its almost epic if i cant game properly on it. - I can get an ACER 5039G which is a 15.4" for a LOT LOT less & its almost identical spec'd out.

Acer might make some nice laptops & sell them at very very competitive prices but Ive read everywhere that their after sales support is a complete shambles. (& also Ive never really WHOLE heartedly trusted the brand ACER)

my other choices was a Dell...

Intel® Core™ 2 Duo Processor T8300 (2.40 GHz, 800 MHz FSB, 3 MB L2 cache)

OPERATING SYSTEM Genuine Windows Vista® Home Premium SP1- English

MICROSOFT SOFTWARE Microsoft® Works 9.0 / English - (Does not include Microsoft® Word)

HARDWARE SUPPORT 1Yr XPS Premium Warranty Support - Priority Call In and Onsite Support

COLOUR CHOICE 2.0 mega pixel Camera & Tuxedo Black for CCFL Display

LCD 15.4" Widescreen™ WXGA (1280x800) TFT Display (220nits) with TrueLife™

BIOMETRIC IDENTIFICATION Biometric Fingerprint Reader with BLACK accent

MEMORY 4096MB 667MHz Dual Channel DDR2 SDRAM [2x2048]

HARD DRIVE 320GB (5.400rpm) SATA Hard Drive

GRAPHICS CARD NVIDIA® GeForce™ Go 8600M GT with 256MB dedicated graphic memory

OPTICAL DRIVE Fixed 8x DVD+/-RW Slim Slot Load drive, including SW

PRIMARY BATTERY Primary 9-cell Lithium-Ion Battery (85 WHr)

which comes out to.... £809.01

Compared to which is now my first choice....

2 GB DDR2 PC6400 800MHZ
160GB 5400rpm SATA Hårddisk
Zepto Zpro2 N-Standard (NBG)
No OS
DVD-RW / CD-RW SATA
Keyboard Orion/Nox UK BLACK
Nox/Orion 6 Cell black
Environment Fee
WXGA+ 1440x900 + NVIDIA® 9600M GT 512MB GDDR3
ODD-Bezel - Black
Online Discount Nox A14 Value
12 months pick-up and return
AC Cable (Mickey Mouse) UK
Intel C2 DUO P7350 2,00Ghz 1066Mhz 3MB-25Watts

which costs £826.99

=====

now thats an AWESOME offer from dell, with the 320GB HDD, 15.4" screen & 4Gb RAM- but its a 'DELL'

on the other hand what ever i downloaded is usually zipped across the network to my main PC anyway so im not exactly gonna be storing anything BIG to justify a 320Gb HDD - Im running an 80GB on my laptop & ive never filled it - a 160Gb@5400RPM/120GB@7200RPM will be just fine.

the CPU on the Zepto could be a little faster but im gonna be running XP on it anyways.

the only issue here is trying to find a way to talk my dad into loaning me some cash & the use of his Credit/debit card to order this badboy since i want to beat the 20day wait - the laptop will always be there but the only time i will be able to get a new laptop wont be until after Xmas when i have the cash...

here's a review of the A15, ~ the same specs but with 15,4" lcd.
http://hwt.dk/literaturedetails.aspx?LiteratureID=10957

It's in Danish so try running it thru googletranslate. Or just look at the pictures :)

taken from the review....

Performance - 4
When I was considering this mark, I was thinking about either a three or a four. The performance of the Nox is on one hand really good, but it is also all too clear that the performance of the Intel P-series CPU's is just not as good as the T-series. This difference in performance is not at all compensated for by the poor battery life, so some might find it a bit strange that I nevertheless have chosen a four instead of a three. This is due to the fact that Nox really does deliver a great deal of performance that should be more than enough for almost every task one might consider using the Nox for. The new generation of Nvidia graphics also provides a powerful upgrade to the old generation which is the thing that really tips the scales in favor of a four

Erm WTF????

Google translator rocks!

The "real" translation is a bit different. The Danish in this review is really poor that is probably why Google has a hard time getting the translation right.

Translation (I have taken the liberity to clean it up a bit):
The result is about what you would expect. The P9500 CPU in the Nox is battling the T9300 CPU that the Zepto 6224W is equipped with(. not at the right place in Danisk nor Enligsh) But is a bit behind the T9500. But why is the P9500 worse than a T9500, isn't the P9500 newer, and don't they all have the same smount of L2 cache? some might ask. Yes, but it is because of the fact that the P-series CPUs are optimized for best performance compared to their powerdraw and not for overall performance.
