BFG Tech has told Tweaktown that it will be putting its first complete gaming PC on display at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) early next year. It will feature a touch screen LCD, which judging by the image we have, allows you to control various aspects of your PC which one would imagine includes overclocking and other BIOS related settings. What it most interesting, is that they seem to be using the same LCD to replace the standard power and restart buttons usually found on a chassis. It has also been said that there will be, "maintainance-free liquid cooling and unprecedented in-home setup and maintainance servicing." Details are still vague and as yet there is no information on the configurations, availability or pricing. If you want to see the system for yourself, it will be at the MGM Grand from Thursday 8th to Saturday 10th January.

It's BFG, where else would they put it, anything labelled as a gaming PC tends to be vastly overprice anyway so it's not to be unexpected.

Software Windows Server 2003 R2 as a Workstation now migrated to W10 with regrets.
TBH, while the technology is cool, is makes no sense to install something like this in an under the desk tower.

Desktop case, OK. Server case, possibly. (to replace VDU). Shuttlebox, itxbox, OK (but no room).

Far better to have something like this as a flat, place on the desk next to your kb, attached via USB. A visual keyboard concept, rather than a touch display concept.

Agree with you on it being able to go on your desk rather than stuck on the case.But it would probably need some sort of custom connector, especially if it is to control the power/reset switches. Could be quite a chunky cable by the end of it. I have a Jump start thing that lets me set up my USB/audio and power buttons/led on my desk, but I gave up with it, cus the cable coming out the back of the PC is so damn thick.

That display alone is gonna add £2-300 to the price of it,nice looking display though.Any guesses to the price of this system?

I assume you're asking what the spec of it'll be pretty much, i'd say £800 or £900 may be a reasonable price, I'm assuming a GTX260, maybe i7 or at least one of the 45nm quads and 4GB RAM, also probably running win 7

I love BFG Tech. I own two graphics cards made by them and will probably never buy another Nvidia based card from anyone else. Plus their lifetime warranty is sweet and is a huge thumbs up that they're headquartered just outside of Chicago where I live. I had to do one RMA on my 8800GTX and turnaround was under a week. I think the total standard RMA process took like 9 days.
