system specs in profile.

Cod4 in Promod/DAMN 0.59 i can only get 250ish fps(locked), with a config based off of yitch2. Its not a perfectly solid 250 tho, only like 95% of the time, otherwise its fluctuating between like 200-250 once in awhile.

its kind of splitting hairs, but it annoys the F*CK outta me when i see a varying fps

running 1280x1024,4xAA, EVERYTHING turned off in config cept textures high

8.12 cats

is my quad bottlenecking this 4870? shud i bump it to like 3ghz or somethin? i just want another 20ish fps or something that way itll never go below 250, cause right now im running 200 1000% solid, so....

yeah...i know its a bit stupid but i jus want my sexi 250 nice an solid

:(

Oh dammit I hate when this happens. You might need to pump a jigawatt into that 4870 to get 250 SOLID.

Wait. Wat. You're not serious are you?

Overclock it then and quit bitching about having "only" 200 fps, it's rediculous. Total waste of a thread.

Why not come on here and start a thread about overclocking your quad or advice on how to improve your system instead of sounding like a spoilt child who says f**k every other word.

I have to agree with jaxxxon on this one. Your clearly just being an attention seeker, and there is nothing productive that is going to come out of this thread.

Buy a new monitor that is wide screen, that will solve your problems because you will need to cap the fps at 60 to save the monitor. That will stop your hairs from splitting, I know mine would be splitting on an CRT too, my reflection would make me cry. It soundsl ike its not that great of a CRT either running only 1280x1024, if you can go higher do so.
