3850 bios flash

I want to flash my visiontek 3850 256mb card with the bios from an asus 3850 256mb card. They both seem to be reference models.

Can i use the other cards bios or will i get a brick?

[edit] whats a good vcore for my card? It currently at the default 1.214 at 3d clocks

ok so i went on and fixed the checksum with a hex editor, so that it matches my original one. I had to change quite a bit though. They were pretty far off. I dont think i overwrote anything important. Just the plug in your card message.

Whats the worst that could happen if somethings wrong with the flash?

You don't need to change anything just add " f " to your atiflash command line to force flash a different checksum bios.
