yeah, its integrated into the motherboard. which in essence means it lifts part of your system ram. I just dont know what intel and sis and via are thinking going the integrated graphics route, unless you doing menial or just plain business tasks that dont require a vid card (or a fire gl or nvidias equivalent)

Well, I wouldn't call anything we have available nowadays "crap", but...

See subject-line/title:

BUT, those Intel graphics cards are just "basic" units from what I have seen of them (@ least in the "integrated on mobo" ones, on my ex-bro-in-law's HP system).

They work "OK", but are not up there w/ the likes of 'higher-end' units from say, ATI or NVidia (the 'big 2' out here in the graphics game nowadays & for the last decade or so almost now).

E.G.-> I've seen them in action playing Quake 3 Arena @ least, they do the job (but tend to have no anti-aliasing features for instance, or any I could find on cursory inspection in their drivers setup (this was in early 2003))...

You are asking to be banned again dolt.

To answer yur question yes, it could be OC'd. Anything can be, but how much time and $$$ do you want to invest?

If it is a true card and possibly bases it's GPU frequency off the AGP bus then all you would theoreticly have to do is increase the AGP bus speed, However that will decrease stabilty and could possibly cause issues with other things such as the hard drives-controllers.

In all honesty it is very unlikely there is any easy way to overclock that card-GPU pending it is achieveable with conventional means.

Before your dad forgot to pull out we had motherboards with jumpers. And after that, DIP switches, then the BIOS. But always it was-is hardware that set the frequency.

Now please, go read a book or something.
