If anyone is from OCFAQ, they will possibly know about this already..

I am getting some water cooling, now I have decided to make my own kit out of random parts...

Thing is, the Eheim 1250 pump has a 3/4" fitting and I can't find a tubing adapter thingy on the internet to change from 1/2" to 3/4".. Does anyone know where I can get one?

Yes, just get 1/2" ID 3/4" OD tubing, and slide it inside the other tubing. Or, depending on what tubing you are using, the 1/2" stuff may be flexible enough to slide over the end of the pump (that is what I do, same pump).

I don't know what tubing to use (other than 1/2" ID). I was thinking of just going to a DIY shop and buying some random tubing from there, Tygon is soo expensive.

I know, but does that justify £13 per metre? Normal tubing is only about £5 a metre..

I'm having an external Black ICE Xtreme 2 and external pump, with a dual floppy bay resevoir... Kinking isn't really a problem.

I could get this tubing, I'm buying other stuff from there so P&P is no problem, plus, look at the price! What do you think?
And yes, I know the pic is of tygon. Lol.

Thanks nano, that's also the only shop I've seen with heatercores... are they better than radiators?

Sorry for wasting everyone's time :( , but I've decided to wait until I have more money... don't worry, I'll take away what you've told me so I won't have to ask again next time :)

Also, I just noticed I have the thread with knightelite's only post here on techpowerup :p

I really have no idea. I think that they're pretty much the same thing as a 'cooling radiator', being a device that is used to transfer heat from a water source (like a fan heater system in a car). That's my uneducated theory anyway. :p

It seems like a decent place watercoolingshop, prices look good and they have a decent selection of gear. Reckon I'll prolly order all my gear from them when I take the plunge. Should be interesting. :p
