Game resolution at 1280×1024?

Is it true that you can play ANY game at 1280X1024 with NviDia 9600?
Any other card could handle that ?

yeah, it should be able to, maybe not all games at highest settings, but sure. I would step up to the GTX series, or hd4830 +

i could play any game on my 4850 1280X1024 maxxed except like crysis and shit like that

Yes you could play almost all games and almost all to the max settings on that res. Other card 9600GSO 96 shaders 192bit that is also neck to neck 9600GT and most of the time cheaper.

HD3870 does fine at 1280x1024, even crysis does pretty well..high settings: 25-30fps..
and a 9600GSO is pretty close in performance no?

yeh you can but it is depend on game setting too , you can play and game on 1280x1024 but not with mas setting
