Hello guys , im here to know if you can help me to fix my problem.
I already built my system and im having the same problem that i had on my last one. Everytime that i run a 3d aplication my PSU starts a noise. Im sure that the sound comes from the PSU , because i already built this out of the case.
My rig is:
Core i7 940
GTX 295
Asus Rampage II
6gb corsari dominator 1866
CORSAIR 1000hx PSU

I dont know whats happening , this is the second time that its hapen. I think that its not a VGA problem because i tried this with two different cards and the noise still. But i tried 2 different PSU too , and the noise continues. It makes me think that the problem could be the energy coming out of the wall , but im not sure. Does any one have idea about what could be happening?? thanks , and sorry for my horrible english because im from Brazil and i dont practice this everytime.
Hope u can helpe me guys , cause no one here in Brazil knows about it.

Are you sure its not the GTX295's?

My GTX260 squeels when it is churning out 1000+ FPS, usually on intro vids.

Yeah , im sure that its not the gtx 295 , cause i already tried this with a HD4870 X2 and the noise still. I had the same problem on my last system , so i guess the problem isnt the VGA.

So different PSU and it does it, different VGA and it does it.

Is it a fan spinning up or something.

Im  its usually the PSU or VGA...hmm...

Everything that i bought is new , except the PSU . I used this Corsair PSU on my last system that was making the same noise.

It's not possible to fix the psu squeal problem. I've had two 750tx's that squeal... after awhile you learn to just live with it

Im not sure if this noise is normal. It makes me think that something is going bad. I spend a lot of money on this system and i dont wanna loose it so early. Is there any chance that my PSU makes all my system broke in the future?

So , this is the situation:

Change the PSU 2 times = noise stiil
Change the Video Card 2 time = noise still

I Built a new system and the noise still

If your getting 11.40 on a 1000 psu, that seems a bit low.Mine never goes below 11.97 and its a cheapo power supply.Your power supply should power tri or quad sli,but it would not do it if its running at 11.40 with only 1 card.Either that power supply is weak or there is something sucking up the power out of it.That psu should be above 12v at idle.Mine reads 12.03 at idle.

the "squeal" is a phenomena that can happen with vidcards PSUs and soundcards...Basically you have a bad luck, and only have the MB to change out now...

What do you mean when u say ''and only have the MB to change out now...''?
Its impossible that the problem is the motherboard.I already bought this , and i had the same problem on my last system.

ahh misunderstood, guess you have to keep changing out PSUs, GFX, and MB's till it goes away... maybe a wall socket issue.

IT just could be the PSU , cause i changed all the system and bought a new one. I just keeps the PSU on my new System , and the noise still there. I didnt change only the PSU , keyboard , mouse and the Hard Drives
