The price diffence between a 2 to a 3 is nothing. But about dual loop do i need new pumps res etc? Or the loss in pressure is not significant

What about 2 pumps? and no dual loop

that would work too. Just remember that if you are using the 355, then 3/8" tubing is fine... but if you go with the 655 then your tubing won't fit.

the top change actually does a lot. I had a D5 and it could not compare to the tiny pump with a top change.

As for the 9x radiator... the 295 overclocked throws off more heat than my i7. My i7 can throw off over 320W of heat up to 380W when doing a high overclock... so to handle 800-900W of heat I wanted a huge radiator. My PA 120.3 could handle the i7 on it's own, but I would need to buy another one or a 4x120 rad just for the 295. It's two GPUs and they make a LOT of heat. You'll get lower temps with water but after a while a radiator that will not return the water temperature to ambient before returning it to the loop will just increase in temperature over time. It's a while, but it tends to happen like that.

In koolance website they rate their triple rad kit with rated 1000W of heat dissipation, so why does a quadone doesnt cut it? Only if Koolance is understating the heat

dual pumps won't give you the kind of head pressure you'll need for a single loop with this many components... but I guess it won't suck >.>

This is not hard to rationalize... just get two DDC 3.2s with xspc res tops. there you have the res and the top for the pump in the same package. Two separate loops and you don't spend extra on a more expensive res for each loop and you have better temps.

I thought the head pressure difference was odd too, i would expect that the 655 would have higher

Yes well you know how I recommended the top change? Those top changes will also increase the head pressure of the pump. XSPC res top and EK x-top rev 2 are the best.

The last time Koolance posted their testing method, they said something about using the same Korean lab as the Korean automotive industry uses...and the same 5000 CFM fan and monitoring equipment, which doesn't go anywhere low enough to get proper measurements. They also use a much higher delta temp than most reviewers do, something like 25°C. Take their testing and results with a horse sized grain of salt.

I call bullshittery. the 295 is 2xgpu + 1 i7 cpu = just under or greater than 700W of heat. Did you skim my earlier posts? Like I said I have only been satisfied with my 9x120 rad, and I think 140mm rads are probably the way to go. A 2x140mm rad gets competing numbers with a 120.3 so 2-3x140mm is a beefy rad but even then still not enough for both a 295 and i7 overclocked. STOCK you could do fine with a quad radiator.
