these guys have a massive list of bioses, almost certainly the one you want is there. otherwise PM-ing those users should work just fine if they are regulars.

Hi Wolf :)

In http://www.mvktech.net/ the most recent version that I found for Nvidia GTX280 is the 62.00.1C.00.86 version

more older that 62.00.1C.00.87 and 62.00.1C.00.88

the users "wkhhn" and "ug4rz" are the 62.00.1C.00.88 . they have this version but we can not contact them.

greetings

Greetings to you too kind sir!

ive been thru my fair share of bios's so ill see what i can turn up for you too.

aside from that i would make a new thread, something like "calling all GTX280 owners" or something, and ask for a GPU-Z screenshots, they will show bios version for you.

other than that im looking too

well he probably wants to flash on a new bios with some improved clocks or fan profile or whatever, but chances are he's chasing a different brand to his to get a different boot signon, or perhaps functionality with a manufacturer locked application, like smart doctor with asus cards, evga voltage tuner for evga cards etc........

you know that's a good question, what do you want the bios for mate?

Hi Wolf :D

Yes Wolf. So is. exactly

The main reason is the latest bios correct cooling fan operation and compatibility with utilities such as RivaTurner.
At the beginning I want to flash a bios from the same brand. XFX. And I wanted to put a higher speed core, shaders and memory, but I'm need learning to edit it first.

and later time if is possible flash a recent EVGA bios that has a utility to modify voltajes. (XFX hasn´t this ) Although I am afraid that something goes wrong.
I need to be sure for a correct flash.
the recent bios from XFX is 62.00.1C.00.88 but any people shared this :ohwell:
Thank you so much by your answers and sorry . my english isn´t fine :p

well i totally want to help you bud, can you post a GPU-Z screen shot of your card?

GPU-Z is an in-house application made right here by Techpowerup's very own W1zzard, its a super tiny app that will tell you pretty much everything you need to know about the card, and once you take the screen shot, techpowerup will also do free image hosting so you can use it in a post.

If we start with that, looooots of modding will be possible, but we may even be able to achieve the results you want with no bios flash, which is safer.

and also, out of curiosity, are you French? I was born in France, but now live in Australia, is just the way you type reminds me of how my dad talks :p

Hi :)
anyone know why gpu-z save the firmwares with .bin extension while the nvflash only accept .rom or .nvrm ?

can I change the extesion .bin to .rom of the file saved with gpu-z without any problems to flash later with nvflash?

thank you
