Logitech Harmony

I'm looking to purchase a nice Logitech Harmony for my 46'' Samsung HDTV and my HTPC setup. My queston is the following: What else do I need to get the Logitech Harmony to work with my HTPC? I use a program called Media Portal, and would like to control it with the harmony, so I would need something that would plug into the HTPC, and probably be able receive a signal through a wall.

Can anyone help me out? I believe I'm going to purchase the Harmony 880.

Hmm..

Is there a type of receiver where I can have it like.. Behind a wall or not in clear view and it will be able to pick up the signal from the remote still?

Also, which IR receiver do you have? Do I need to buy another cheap remote to get one?

Honestly my refurbed harmony 659 is by far one of the best purchases I have made in recent years. Bought it a while ago for 50 on woot. You will not be disappointed.

I use the intergrated IMon receiver which comes with the DH102 Thermaltake HTPC case.

you could use the reciever from that and set the harmony to mce.

The IR ones will not work through walls if that's really what you're going for? If so you'll need the Bluetooth ones I believe.
