I ended up on ZDNet and read that Neowin was saying that maybe the subscriptions are for 3 months and not a year. Then I logged in and looked at my main page again, because I was so excited I hadn't bothered to read.

I think you may be right. If they mistakenly put this deal up, or didn't want people to have it, I'm guessing they would have taken the site down by now.

I can fake an address and telephone code in the US... just choose some random hotel in a city and google.

BUT, it says the confirmation letter and subscription information will be POSTED.

So do we ALSO get the logins via email... or do we physically have to receive them in the post?
