I was wondering when they would make the xbox hardware faster. I doubt there will be major changes though maybe faster clock speeds and more memory or something or hopefully some integrated crossfire action.

more than likely it will just be the same console with a smaller layout(and die strinks) + motion control and locked to the new games only

There is no way in hell they will launch a beefed up 360 in terms of performance. It would be a nightmare for devs.

Maybe it will just be the 360 slim with it integrated. Or we are just looking a development for the next gen console in years to come.

Either way, there will not be an Xbox 360 1.1 so to speak.

Next gen or add-on and/or built into a slim 360.

I'm still thinking along the lines of more clockspeed or new cpu with same architecture but more performance or new gpu of the same architecture but more beefed up. Honestly those are incredibly optimistic at best so if anyone takes this literally god help you

Exactly what I was thinking There were rumours about an XBOX 360 'Slim', maybe it will be released and the Natal will come with it

Nope far too different. Most likely games wouldn't work on anything other than a current xenos gpu. Bear in mind xenos isn't quite a 2xxx series nor is it a x1900. It will have to be backwards compatible and have more power so we could be in for a surprise.

If you think microsoft would put a new gpu in a console right now you aren't thinking straight, this is not a new console, its just gonna be a revamp of the 360, remember how sony used to make their one and two consoles, its like that, but + motion control, but its called a different name so they can still sell the 360. Microsoft, would neva, eva, . . . . eva, eva, eva, release something while they are making a ton of money on something else, thats no different than kickin yourself right in the nuts, as a matter of fact this could be slower than a 360 in order to make it as small as possible, they would be able to use the low binned cpu's and gpu's from the upcoming valhalla revision then, that way they could regain losses to make as much money as possible =D, now thats the microsoft I know.
