card sounds faulty artifacting, video drivers, chipset drivers, memory voltage- timings. Bios update might be the anwser also. Your running a pci/e 2.0 card on a pci/e 1.1 board also

okay so i have ruled out drivers, so when i get home i'll update the chipset and the bios as well thanks will get back to you in 2 hours

you have another video card around that you can comfirm no artifacting in games? If so you need to rma that video card. ALLEN

it really does seem to be a temperature issue, you Need to check temps under load. This is very important for us, because your card should be idling about 35c, not 50c, not to mention the fact that its probably the memory overheating, not the GPU (which is always the more likely case, because while your card is at 50c idle, your memory may be at 70c idle)

Another thing before you RMA, turn the fanspeed all the way up on RIVATUNER, if you dont have it, download it at guru3d.com or google it.

Also go ahead and grab a program called HWmon, it monitors ALL temps, which is helpful since you can see your NB temps, CPU temps, etc...

From the picture's you provided, it looks to me like it's a problem with the memory. Try and downclock it some and see if it still does it.

You running the memory at 1066? if so try running them at 800 4-4-4 timings with same voltage

To me it sounds like its time to RMA a video card. If the new one you get back does the same, then I would look into your power supply being at fault EVEN if it does have 72a in total.

You know, you still haven't listed the load temperature. That is essential. Somebody else said that the GPU temp does not represent the RAM temp and that is absolutely true. It seems like a memory problem. Maybe that part of your card is overheating. Put it in a bucket of water.

How about you try the newest version of OCCT? It has the ability to test your GPU and video memory, so give that a try and see if it comes up with any error's. If it does than you will probably have to RMA it like JrRacinFan said.

hey guys sorry for the LONG break but yeah ive been busy. So evga says that its not the card. Load temps are around 80 or so in a game. Hope that helps
