looks fun just an arcade style racer with a huge map to explore

looks like a dirt and motorstorm rip but that actually sounds fun to me

Its pretty good,the area is massive.The frame rate is pretty good too,i've not noticed it tearing,but it must be as the framerate is above my monitors 60hz refresh.

Its kinda motorstorm for the pc,though it is on xbox and ps3 too i think.Its really quite fun,has 16player multi on the pc too.

I was thinking about getting it for PS3. Altho they said you're pretty much alone in single player mode, meaning little to no life around. Kind of a huge drawback to me.

Does this have the vehicle destruction like motorstorm? I really like being able to label each part that flies out of my dune buggy as it rips apart. But even if it doesn't, still might have to get this, the game looks like a lot of fun

Where the hell is the options to change stuff like detail and resolution? It's stuck at 800x600 and looks like ass because I can't for the life of me find the menu.

EDIT: NVM they hid a separate little settings option in the game's folder

It's just okay.

Physics could be better.

Sound could be way better.

Cars could be destructable.

Cars could be moddable.

The last two are particularly bad misses on CM's part. These seem important in a "pseudo-post-apocolyptic" world.

I think so. I would like to see this game modded in a few ways to make it really good.

As it is...I think it's a nice offroad game. The open world is pretty spectacular, there's definite attention to detail all through it. I just feel like the rest of the game might have suffered.

It just seems to me like in this kind of "fictional present" which is kinda Mad Max style, it would've been at the top of the list to do better damage and being able to make a car as your own, with mods and whatnot.

Also, complaint, all the races are "classed" so that only quads can race, or SUVs, or Muscle cars...I would like it better if you could just race a car that is thoroughly your choice, be it bike or buggy, in any race. It would be an interesting mechanic to force the player to choose the correct car for the race.

Is it open terrain? Even if the race are bad, if I can just haul ass across the entire map in any direction I want, it will take me a long time to get bored.

Fuel Demo

This is an interesting game. Big open world kind of racing demo. Graphics don't look to shabby. Processing shaders (1st time I ran this game) took a while but after that it loads much faster. The game detected the xbox 360 controller with no problem at all. Not sure how this game plays with a wheel yet.

Anyone else tried this demo yet?
