Thanks so much!! Really appreciate the comments. It's great to meet someone that feels the same. Been wanting to make new friends lately. Besides work, alot of the people I spend time with are not really that into hardware so once again, thank you!! yeah... why not 1024? : )

Oh well... Basically just joined a few forums to make some new friends.. Had no intention of making people think I was a liar. Scan told me they would be available in about 10 days so once I get them I'll let you know. Thanks! -Beaux Loy

I think the problem with all these really expensive custom cards is that by the time they actually come out you're usually only a few months away from the next generation of cards. If the GT300 specs we've seen are true then it should perform better, for at least half the price. I wish we could get custom designed cards within a month of the base product's release, would be better for the manufacturers and buyers as there would be more time before the product become obsolete. If this had come out a month or two after the stock 295 GTX Asus probably could have been optimistic enough about long term sales that they would have lowered the price and made it a mainstream product.

I agree. It's actually been a while since we last talked on here. Just wanted to give everyone a heads up and say that release date is august 14th. Cant wait for the benchmarks.. I'll post pics before I install them. :)

I don't see where all the collectors talk is coming from. Where is the market for the existing 'collectables'?

e.g. I have a XFX 8800 Ultra xxx, the fastest of it's time. (I didn't pay retail:)) Ultra's have been mentioned in several previous posts but what value are they today? Hardly anything.
