Windows Messenger Confirmation Email

I recently signed up with Windows Messenger on Xp. It works but I never get the confirmation email. I've searched this on google and found many people have reported this problem without a solution. So far I've tried resending the Email and adding microsoft email to my safelist. I would try and use a diffrent email but I can't change my email until the 1st one is verified. If anyone has found a solution to this problem please share it.

simply make a new one under a slightly different name, and use the new email for verification.

I would do that but that requires me to make a new Windows Live I.D. Plus the Windows I.D I'm usiing is tied in with my xbox too so I would also have to change that. I'll d othat as a last restort.

Check your spam Box. It's in there. I had the same thing happen with numerous windows accounts via there Live.



EDIT: Make sure that if you check your email with Outlook/or some email client that your email service isn't using their own Spam.. such as Yahoo/Gmail even tho you use the Clients spam blocker they have their own.

No It didnt appear in my spam box but I updated to Windows live Messenger which sent the confirmation email and also verified windows messenger. Ty everyone for there suggestions

it changed the thing on your messenger, doesnt say need to validate anymore, says your on teh 360, but idk tbh and as a side note i'm building a new comp xD
