PSU problem? Mobo problem? I always have problems!

i was able to cop an Enermax Revolution85+ 1050w psu and it just arrived today. i put everything together with my new rampage formula, but the system wont fully boot. i push my power button, the system lights up, then turns off, then it lights up again and stays powered up, but i get no signal to the monitor. it's basically like a system hang. i cleared CMOS...but problem still persists. nothing's going smoothly for me these days. :cry:

Anyway, did you check that the new PSU was properly connected to the motherboard and VGA??

yea. it's all connected.

Have you tried starting the system with the bare minimun to work, i.e. CPU, 1 RAM DIMM and VGA??

Also, have you tried the same thing but with the MB outside the chassis (on a cardboard box, for example) to rule out any possible shorting between the MB and the chassis??

Do you have access to a multimeter??

make sure your bios is current, do you have an extra cpu to see if thats your issue? or maybe an extra stick of ram to rule out the gskill as the issue?

Sounds like vga or ram to me do u have a spare of those to try out? Try setting it up outside of the case as well.
