Still not sure if its worth it to go from my 182.08 drivers to these.

Its not... 182.XX are faster and less buggy...

I tried these... they also have the fallout stutter bug (when you move your mouse fast the game locks up for half a second then continues) along with performance degradation. :shadedshu SLI scaling not existent, single card OK except for the fallout bug... even single card GT200 is slower than any 180 - 182.xx versions.

SLI works in farcry 2 on X58 and 790's but not on my 750i... :banghead:

Nvidia should just stop releasing drivers until they get something that works, I swear...

Seems like this whole "releasing a driver for EVERY CARD WE MAKE" scheme is not working out too well... some people see improvements, some people see slowdowns (depending on hardware)... some problems are fixed, while new ones emerge. I.e. fan speed/clock speed fixed on G92 (AFAIK) and stutter begins in fallout 3 on GT200. :wtf:

Personally, I wish they would do each card individually...

5 FPS is not enough for me:shadedshu I wish they can release a driver that makes it increase at least 30-40% performance :laugh:

I think 190 is only for antique cards like mine :roll:

These drivers are dangerous for the 8400gs series, be warned.

This is what happens after playing the Matrix for about 2 mins, after i leave the game my whole desktop becomes a fuzz ball full of artifacts. Thought my damn card was dying.

Great, these drivers broke the newest rivatuners's support under win7. Now I have to get precision 1.8 and use rivatuner, because I need to set voltages, ug.

I usually don't even uninstall the previous driver...

I only do a full cleaning of previous drivers when I have problems, which is actually rather rare. Video card drivers have gotten pretty good about updating without issue.

No it doesn't. Running them along side Rivatuner right now under Win7 RTM.

These latest drivers are playing games with me. They drop to 2D mode quite frequently, and when the driver lapses it stuck at 2D mode. I need a stable driver that forces 3D mode and doesnt change my clocks so frequently. ?Help?

Well just finish installing Vista Ultimate 32bit a few hours ago, install the 190.62 drivers and Enter the Matrix works just fine, none of the problems that existed with XP. Wooo, these drivers are pretty nice.

This could either be a bug, or my dying motherboard. After installing these drivers, if I run a game, after a few minutes it drops to low power 3d mode, and sticks there. Even if I leave the game. Reboot required, but then it just happens again. Anyone else with a gtx280 type card seeing this problem?

thats a common problem with the new drivers... power management is borked.

No issues on my end thus far, only really played some CoD4 and Warhammer 40K: DoW II recently though, but no issues or qualms with either, both run smooth still so I can't comment if performance increased or not, but everything is solid, clocks stay where they should, when they should. Good old GTX260's still trucking along quite well...and it better for a while, I got too many games I wanna get coming up soon.

Well keep in mind, i am using a 8400gs 512mb PCI by BFG, so of course newer and faster cards wouldn't have this much trouble. The only stable and fastest driver for my card for some reason seems to be the 175.16 driver, the same driver that shipped with the card. Any other driver gives me issues, where some games work great, but others do not. The 175.16 seems to work with well with any game. I just get some weird slowdown in enter the matrix thats all. But everything else works fine.

Oh well, not sure whats a bug or its just my buggy mobo anymore. The .56s were working, but I'm sure at this point my mobo is done. I'll just have to wait for my lapped "400 to do some new bidness on the pro.....

Yes! My GTX285 is doing the exact same thing, it doesn't do it in Call of Duty 4, but does in ProtoType after about 10 minutes of play.

ProtoType also crashes when I use any AA with these drivers and 190.38s... But the 190.38s didn't do that with Vista, only Win7, so I don't know if this is just a Win7 bug with ProtoType.

Well it turned out I was dropping to 2d clocks and sticking in games. Then I got the first "driver stopped responding" bluescreen I've ever seen! Went back to .56 and much better now...
