Well I've decided that I don't really need a massive OC on my CPU (which requires large volts to do so), so I thought I might as well play around with my RAM, which is pretty good quality stuff.
The highest I've taken it to stably was about 975 MHz, on 1.95 volts. I thought that was pretty good, but with my current CPU OC I don't think they'll go that high (or too high) on the FSB.
Anyway, I thought of playing around with the timings. Set them to 4-4-4-12 instead of 5-5-5-15, 1.93 volts, 833 MHz, and WOW, massive boost! Everything loads much faster, and its all noticeable. I've always heard that speed is more important that timings, but now I'm really not so sure.
So here's my question; should I continue working on lowering my timings, or do I set them back to normal and try for higher speed? I'm loving the speed increase from lower timings, but would increased clock speed be better/safer/more effective?
