If I couldn't figure it out I would just hook a hose to each barb and put them in the sink and see which way it flows.

seems top input and right output to me. you should open it and show us where the impeller is, its easy. it will be perpendicular to the input and parallel to the output.

Top input, side output - the input has to be over the middle of the impeller so the side pipe can't be the input as that would make it a uselessly small impeller. Also the circle in the plastic shows the impeller is below the top connection.
