ok i have a ?? if i have a Canon Rebel T1i and when i fill out BestBuy's trade in center online the offer is more $$ then its worth:roll:, now if i take it to the store will they give me the same price as the online quote or will they realize oh wait we need to change that? here's what it says

Nice loop in the system. Perhaps one of our resident BB employees could help.

I say print it out and take it in there. Worst case scenario is you get denyed the overage amount. Your not trying to rip them off, just taking advantage of their system. :)

He isn't talking about matching prices online, he is talking about Best Buys own website quoting him a trade-in value that Best Buy would pay for his camera and if that quote would be the same in the store.

I would assume that the same system is in place to calculate the credit in the store, so it should spit out the same value in the store. Of course you add the human element into the equation by going in the store, and an employee might catch it. However, most employee's don't give two shits right now, and would probably just give you the credit.

I work at best buy also, if it is the same online pricing by best buy then they kinda have to match it unless it is something ridiculous. and Yes, it is snowing in Houston, I live in cypress, and its coming down a lot now.

Yeah be careful though cause they have to "evaluate it", so make sure you're ok with the different price points and take a lot of pictures before you send it out. Hope you get the $900!
