new gfx card time

im looking for a new gfx card i got a 8800 gts 320mb atm and im looking for a new one but dont know what to go for any advice?

i play all the new games cod 4 mw2, wow ect,

price limit £100 ive also only got a 520w psu with 1 x 6 pin gfx card power adapter on it.

any i dears would be helpfull.

+1 to Bravesoul. I think the extra £15 pounds will be very well spent, and 5770 does not exert as much demand as 4770 on the psu.

Just grab the HD5770, its the best card on a single 6-pin period.

HD5770 all the way... easily the best bang for buck and nice n easy on your psu.

All games will run full detail and smooth on your 22in.

If you really cannot stretch the extra 20 or so then I would go for a HD4870. They can easily be had for under a 100.

Get a PowerColor ATi Radeon HD 5750 (Go Green edition) since it only draws a max of 75W and doesn't require a 6 pin cable either. Its powered by only the PCI slot. You can later on save alot of cash and go for a 5870 or 5970. OR if your willing to spend more cash now go for 5770 or 5850 without the 4xxx series since your will have more benefits like DirectX 11 .

so your saying low-power edition is a waste or 5770 and 5750 is a waste and class as low-end?

Hey man. Im not forcing him to get a 5750. Obviously 5770 is better. Just telling that it requires very little power and doesnt even require a 6pin cable. I think it would be better to save some cash and go for a very high end card later than spend every cent now and again buy a new expensive card later.

plus free postage,i would get the sapphire one from overclockers and see if they offer free postage since it comes with dirt 2 you be able to try that game out in DX11.

if you want to stay with nvidia the 8800 gts 512 g92 is going for about £90 on ebay and stock cooling is good still for overclocking

IMO the HD5770 is worth the extra £20.

Go with the HD5770. Low power consumption, great performance, DX11, good overclockability.
