Sony sending out v3.0 firmware beta disks

Looks like Sony is sending out UMDs with a beta of the upcoming v3.0 firmware to the members of "YourPSP". The upcoming release included GIF support, quicktime playback, PSone emulation, flash videos on web browser and streaming WMV's from the browser.

I'm a member of YourPSP. Are they going to send me the disk like they did the Spiderman 2 UMD?

Since being registered since Sept2nd last year they have failed to send me my welcome pack even after numerous emails to the playstation support, so I dont hold out much hope of getting this.

The PSone emulator is what I am interested in. I have some PSone games that I would love to get into on the PSP...assuming there is a way to work out the missing 2 shoulder buttons.

Not sure how the mechanics of PSone to PSP games work... I assume it must just be all emulated and not use the PS1 disks!

I would have thought that ppl would have figured out what 1.5 can do by now.

But i guess its best that ppl dont know.. makes the industry remain alive.

but what if you dont have 1.5 and cant downgrade to it? Or have I missed something - after I found I couldnt downgrade my firmware I lost interest in trying. Mine came with 2.5 and I loaded 2.6 I think ( my nephew has it just now so I cant check).
