pretty soon it looks like pi to 1M isn't going to be good enough anymore. Imagine if they could actually get both cores to do one thing of superpi somehow. Cut the time in half

That prolly is a cascade, with temps very close to LN2.

Must be custom built. Man how much do they cost? Not like I am getting one anytime soon but I just want to know. Personally I'd rather spend that money (about 1K) on the Dell 3007 but I guess different strokes for different folks.

They can range from anywhere around $400 to $1000+ depending on who makes it, whats used in it.

1 stage = $400+
2 stage= $800+
3 stage= $$$$$ Lots $$$

But are DAMN cold!

3 stage is VERY close to LN2 (within 30C tuned properly, ish. +/- 10 or so C) and can hold a load over a longer persiod of time. (not to mention reused)

But results are definatly better with LN2. :toast:
