those are x19 multipliers

I would think you would go with 1 High end chip now and get its brother later on. I dont know if the board has a bclk wall like the current boards do tho .

price is SO much more for 1x higher. you cant find used e5540s for under $600 each.

supposedly the wall wont be there. it IS an EVGA board... prolly wont have a wall but more a limit on the cpu. cpu will most likely max around 250-260bclk

im not after 5ghz really so its not that big of a deal. 4.2-4.5ghz would be great for 8cores/16threads

From what i have seen those chips do 4ghz on high voltages, it wont be a problem for you i guess since your watercooling any ways
