Remove Windows 7 Partition

I have to harddrives, one 160GB one and another 320 GB one, wiondows 7 is on the 160GB one and linux is on a partition on the 320GB one. I want to completely wipe the 160GB one, but im worried because i remember seeing something in the grub menu about windows 7 being the boot loader. What does that mean and will i safely be able to boot up to linux after completely wiping the other drive?

Simple, just unplug your 160GB HDD and boot your system with 320GB HDD only, if it loads your linux then you can wipe your 160GB HDD. If it wont boot, you may need to fix linux boot with grub ( I dont know about linux much more ).

kay well i tried that and grub is located on that hdd, so how do i wipe it while still being able to boot?

You should be able to fix it with linux DVD/CD as similar we do with win7/vista.
I dont use linux so I cant say how you would do that.
