I am about to buy a watercooling setup, but I just want to make sure I don't order anything wrong.

This is what I think I'll order:

Anything you would want to change?
I would also appreciate if someone with the 800D chassis could post some pics of their wc setup, so I could get some inspiration.
I will also add dual gpus and maybe the mb to the loop later. Do you think an additional 140mm rad will be able to keep it cool?

If you really plan to add more GPU and motherboard blocks to the loop later, make sure that Lang pump has a good liter/per/hour rating as well as Head strength. The more blocks you add, the more resistance the pump will encounter.

I've personally used Black Ice, Feser, Koolance, and Swiftech. So, I can't say anything of Magicool myself, but the RAD is probably just right for a CPU and dual GPU configration.

Get some Tygon tubing if you can. Again, I've never heard of "Masterkleer" before. It could end up being some very kinkable tubing, or just not up to the quality you were expecting. Google it for some reviews. If you don't find anything, it's probably with good reason.

Good luck!

The pump can do 600 l/h and lift 4.7m. Is that good enough?
I actually found a couple of forum threads with a tygon vs Masterkleer comparison, and the Masterkleer tubes seem to do quite well.

do you really need that res?

THe XSPC res, has a holder for the DDC, so you wouldnt need a DDC top with an XSPC bay res.

I don't really need that res. I just picked it for the looks :p
That XSPC res looks pretty interesting though.

Masterkleer? Never heard of it. The only tubing I personally used has been PrimoChill and Feser. Both worked awesome. both were quality tubing. Rads that I have used are the BI GTX 360, swiftech 220, and Thermochill PA 120.3 and they all work awesome with great temps. good luck man

Thanks everybody!
I have done some changes to my setup.
There is one thing I haven't decided yet. Later I am going to add my gpus an maybe the motherboard as well. Do you think I should put the gpus in a seperate loop? In that case Ill use the dual XSPC reservoir.

u would need another rad for another loop.

Dual loops is usually better, because you have more control of your loops.

However dual loops is excessive unless your a hardcore bencher.

There is nothing wrong with durelene as your tubing also
http://www.sidewindercomputers.com/dupvctu7id5o.html

I kinda recomend cheap tubing as your first build, because you dont get pissed when you accidentally cut too much or too little.

Also you can buy a lot of cheap tubing.. and experiment. (i usually recomend 10-15 feet... gives u plenty for oops!)
Once you got your good setup laid out, you can then use expensive tubing.

Stay away from premixes..!!!
Its absolute junk.. and it tends to stain all your internals in your blocks.
Go straight distilled + Silver...

Silver plated fittings...
http://www.sidewindercomputers.com/big1trsi1fi.html

Make sure your water says distilled:

You dont need the other stuff on the other row unless u dont have silver.

is absolute 100% J U N K!!!

So no to premixes! and yes to silver!
Thats why i made such a rant on it on XS.

You could alwyas use these guys too:

Welcome to our crack addiction.

Also the XT might be a better block then the HF, because the XT has a much easier mounting system.
But thats your call.

Silver it is then!
What is the difference between cheap and expensive tubing anyway?
I did build a watercooling setup a couple of years ago, but I think there were something wrong with it, because it didn't preform much better than a noctua u12.
I think it might be because I was using silent noctua fans on a radiator designed for high airflow fans.
Should I buy some high airflow fans for the thermochill rad?
I actually know a goldsmith, so ill ask him if he can make me a silver spiral like that :)

Edit:
Do you think a 3x120 rad is enough to cool down a cpu and 2 gpus?
In that case ill stick with one loop.
But if I need another rad I might as well keep the loops separate.

Edit2:
I just had to post the warnings for that silver spring :D

Warning: This product contains...uh...Silver!

• If ingested, you may choke... so just don't do that.

• If contact with skin occurs, smile... you're holding silver!

• AVOID CONTACT WITH EYES! If contact with eyes occurs... wait, why are you shoving metal coils into your eyes?

Tubing size will have a very small impact on your system.

Well provided your not running 1/4id tubing all the way around.

I recomend cheap tubing, becuase its cheap.

It will cloud faster then the premium tubing... however, its cheap.
Your system will also not be long enough for you to enjoy premium tubing.

A newbie not touching / tweeking his newly setup loop is very rare.
Meaning once its up, you will tinker with it til no tomorrow.
