Where can I get Koolance Radiator mounting screws?

Why Koolance dont supply small screws for mounting the radiator in the case???

Dear customer,

As a member of the koolance staff I regret to inform you that we are not allowed to supply screws for mounting because we believe it's not in the best interest of the company, we believe that supplying extra screws also is not in the best interest of customers and that is not included in our development plans in any way. We do not condone placing a radiator inside a case and that may void your warranty, we do supply an external "optional" mounting for the radiator for the amount of 169USD plus shipping. Also there are no plans of including dedicated servers and LAN play for radiators.

I don't think any of the manuf. send them with the rads. Go to hardware store and get some, cheaper and most likely better. :toast:

because the vendor does not want to be responsible on a goof that u may due from overtightening the screws and puncturing your rads. :T

Ditto... I usually get rubber washers + large fender washers for less pressure on the rad. If your rad has pre-tapped holes, bring it into the hardware store. They're usually metric.

You want m3 or m4 bolts, you can buy them most places that sell water cooling parts.

m3 if you could screw a normal case screw into the rad, m4 if its bigger then that.

the koolance rad is identical to the black ice GTS rad.

I say this, because from an unconfirmed source, its from the same warehouse.

So it should fit m4 like all standard blackice rads.

However be extra careful not to puncture the fins when mounting your fans on.
Ive seen way too many people over tighten the screw and puncture there rads.

Take the rad to the hardware store. Try out screws til you find some that work. Purchase them. Win.

I've got 2 Koolance Rads which came with long fan mount screws....I went through Case/Fan/Rad.....worked fine...screwed in another fan on the flipside of course...no issues mounting to case though.

M4x30mm for 25mm fans, M4x10mm for 38mm open corner fans.

Doh, reading comprehension fail on my part...
If you're just mounting one side to the case, you'll probably just need M4x5mm. If you're using fan grills, go with 10mm and pickup some nylon washers for spacing in case 10mm is too long.

fins can be removed,bent and generally beat to shit as long as the tubes dont get punctured. I hate the idiot designers that put the tubes in line with the screw holes (morons)

Of course it wont help in RMA if a large chunk of fins are missing, lol
