Intel Corporation is planning on helping the Chinese in rural areas find their way to technology.

According to the Xinhua news agency, Intel will donate more than 10,000 personal computers to rural schools by 2008 and help train a million teachers, who will in turn help educate more than 100 million students by 2011.

It's great that we devote so much time and resources to other countries, yet thousands are homeless and starving in our own. Of course, this is just another marketing trick to get money out of other markets, and not really about helping other people.

Didnt Intel just let go of a lot of workers.
And now they just decide to help China out.
Instead of giving jobs to people in the US / Europe.

Whens the last time someone decided to help us out with the national debt?

It's not about the nation, it's about finding the geniusses in china, it's just like India. India is full of smart people as well, they just don't get the oppertunity to use their talents. Intel is trying to use their talents.

As for the US national debt, not wasting any words on that.

LOL, just the way that this is put: "intel will train a million teachers"... first off it would have to be another country because there is not a million people wanting to be teachers in all of United States, we know the pay situation. I don't know just screams slave labor to me :p... "hey ching chow, go teach kid now... *cracks whip*.
