Weird problem with my monitor

I get this weird issue with my monitor whenever a program goes from full screen to the desktop and vice versa. Its like green/sometimes red fuzzies and the only way to make it go away is to refresh my resolution or turn the monitor off and on.

Is this something I should be worried about? Like should I be contacting asus about getting a replacement monitor?

Im using a ASUS VK246, and this is a fairly recent problem.

I would check all connections, maybe try your monitor on a friends pc and see if the proble is still there

connections seem fine, dont have a second computer to test it on atm

u sure? i just feel like its more likely a monitor would go bad then a cable randomly going bad. Cause it worked fine for months

Normally I would totally agree with it being a cable but because he can fix by turning off the monitor then turning it back on I would side with it being a monitor...but would also test with a different cable.

I had almost same issue before...
its my video card's capacitors bloating.

you may need to check your's.

I was thinking a video card issue also, but why would turning the monitor on and off fix it? Thats the only reason I said monitor first.

Unless it is Win7 detecting the monitor turning off and disabling the port and re-enabling it when the monitor is turned back on(I know it does that).
