Hackers n cheats on line gaming ;(

I only paly cod4 and i am about to buy BC2 too soon.
I have to say i am quite good and i finish 4/1-5/1 very often.
I must admit i get many accusations about cheating although i ve NEVER used any of the cheating crap.I think there s no point in cheating.
U only cheat if u feel minor to others and use (the also minor way of publicity) the PC GAMES to prove your worth.Instead u are a zero...In real life and in digital...

The subject is social in many ways and it would take millions of lines in this thread to cover it!!

shot him with a full clip 30 rounds striaght in him at piont blank range. And hes still standing

If you feel somebody someone is cheating and the game has spectator mode, try that out to see if it confirms your suspicions. No point in getting mad, if they're no kicked off just make a note of which server it is, move on to the next server and leave them to it.

just take a look at the battlefield bad company 2 leaderboard. The guy in first place is top rank already and has an average KDR of 129 kills to 1 death........... yeah right!?
He has very little squad score so hasn't been getting points through healing etc and obversely just been running around on his own just killing EVERYONE!

still classed as cheating in a sense because he didnt rank up the same way everyone else is. & AFAIK stats padding doesnt actually class as playing the game

Although there are really good players out there, I am generally skeptical of those with unrealistic numbers. I wouldn't accuse them of hacks or anything like that because as you said, they might just be that good and I'd end up looking like a whiny noob. Seeing complaints typed in the games that "blah blah blah this guys is using hacks" really makes the complainer look childish/inexperienced. The easiest solution (easier than going to another server) is to switch over to the other team and take advantage of the easier play!

Some servers, though, prohibit team stacking - which also prohibits changing teams mid-game for whatever reason . . . unless the server auto-assigns you, or you change to even out the number of players (which I'll do a lot).

But, again, there are those that can rack up consitent high k/d ratios. If you spend a lot of time on one or two specific servers, you start to get a feel for the other regular players - their playing style, and their skill level. I've seen some players in the 115-10 range, and I can attest to a legit score . . . cause I've also seen the flipside when they've just had a bad match or a bad few rounds, and are running with a negative k/d.



Although, I've always found it rather funny that the vast majority of the "star" players are the ones that simply don't complain when something doesn't seem right - there's really no point when you're consistently in the top 5 on the server each round.

i dont think thats necessarily cheating at times. When i play UT3 i shoot corners before i go around them. I also shoot rockets into random places while im moving.

CoD4 right? Unless they were shooting through walls, and hitting you while at it, it can be that its just a "spawning point feel" (well as a cod4 player thats what I call it).. Its a technique to know a map and predict instinctually where the next spawn point will be..

Yea i get both what you mean, and this is what i put it down to mostly, and just hope that they arnt cheating. Im not one of these people that will get up in there face and ask if they are, i just continue on and move on. I also do the same trick (not as much as i should tho)
