Long time green team user, now running a 5870 to replace 2-260's. I'm running the 10.3a Preview drivers and liking them so far.

BIIIIG question, where do they hide the Flip Queuing option? From what I have Googled, Flip Queuing seems like it could be a Crossfire option only.

Is this true? or is Flip Queuing available for a single gpu like nvidia's Max Render Frames Ahead?

If it's available for single gpu, where the heck do they hide it in the CCC?

Thanks

Flip queuing option is available if you use ATi Tray Tools BETA instead of CCC.
I have used ATi Tray Tools ever since my x1950pro.

Thanks.

Edit:
Try Tool's not compatible with Win 7 64 bit, even trying to use Driver Sig Enforcer.

I DLed ATT about a week ago and from what I read, it renders frames ahead of time to make gameplay smoother. I think the higher it is set, the more CPU power you must have.

On an off topic, does it seem like you get the most performance from 3rd party software? All my games look completely different now since using ATT. In FO3, the atom waste on the ground makes smoke and textures are more detailed. In COH, the explosions have more detail and the lighting is different. A jeep had engine damage and I actually saw the light from the flickering fire reflecting off the jeep and surrounding ground. I almost need another card to crank everything.

Mine is version 1.6.9.1472 and I don't use the Driver Sig Enforcer. I believe I downloaded it from Guru3d a couple weeks ago when I bought my first ATI card and I was searching for useful programs.

You need to download the latest ATT BETA.

@Champ
I have never liked CCC, it looks better, but it's not as easy to use or has as much useful tools all in one package.
Also ATT is no where near as big as CCC.

I have always used ATT because it loads up faster on startup, it has extra apps which I like.
E.g GPU system tray temp reading, screeshot hot key, OSD hot key

Although when instaled things aren't usually to my preference so some setting adjustments need to be done.

I started a thread here a few years back about which app do you use and it's a near even split between ATT and CCC

Hmm, using the ATT version from Guru3d. It installs fine, but when I click the Settings button, the Driver Tweaks is all grayed out. I tried installing with the CCC instralled and without CCC installed. Currently using the 10.3 (official) drivers. Using Win 7 64 bit.

EDIT:
Solved. I redownloaded the version from Guru3d and reinstalled. No idea about the earlier versions. I did not force a driver sig with Guru3d version. Now I've got flip queue size.
